Bio
Bobby McMahon
    Born and raised in Scotland Bobby played school and youth football. He went on to play for one of Scotland's top amateur teams and was selected for a Scottish Amateur team trial.
     In 1979 he left for Canada and settled in Winnipeg. For the next 14 seasons he played for and coached senior teams that made it to the national finals on a regular basis. Since then he has coached at the school and youth level as well as coaching a top women's team in Winnipeg.
     Over the last 20 years Bobby has provided soccer comment and analysis to newspaper, radio and television stations across North America. Bobby has also contributed to the U.K. soccer monthly "W.S.C. - When Saturday Comes" and he currently writes a regular blog for the Fox Soccer Channel website.
     When Fox Sports World Canada launched in the fall of 2001, Bobby was hired to provide weekly soccer comment on a show called Sportslink. The show evolved into the Fox Sports World Report and in September 2002 the show went to air across North America. Bobby appears on the FSWR every Friday and Monday and the "Report" is now shown in many areas of the world.
     During the 2006 World Cup Bobby was based in Los Angeles and took part in "Ticket to Germany" a daily show on Fox Soccer Channel dedicated to happenings in Germany. He also contributed on a weekly basis to Fox Sports Radio's coverage of the World Cup.
